Redridge Bounty Hunter

A

After braving my way through the Stockades, I decided to finish up my tasks in Redridge. I took a Gryphon, and arrived at Lakeshire at dusk. After getting my armor repaired, I noticed a few “WANTED” signs nailed around the town hall and the inn. There were various criminals loose, in the greater north eastern part of the area. Having done my part to successfully rid Stormwind of it’s criminals, I decided to take on these bounties to continue my devotion for the Alliance.

WANTED Lieutenant Fangore

My first target was a Gnoll known as Lieutenant Fangore. He is the leader of a large group of Gnolls called the Shadowhide Gnoll Clan. As if the deeds of these animals weren’t reason enough for alarm, Fangore is considered an enemy of Stormwind for his alliance with Morganth, an evil warlock practicing dark magic at the Tower of Ilgalar in eastern Redridge.

Having done my part to successfully rid Stormwind of it’s criminals, I decided to take on these bounties to continue my devotion for the Alliance.

So I set off up a long path to the north, ready to take down my target. After a somewhat long ride, I finally arrived. I knew there were going to be a few Gnolls patrolling the area, but I was shocked to see just how many. There were camps spread out all over the area as far as I could see, leading up to the dark Tower of Ilgalar.

The Gnolls put up a predictable fight, making up for their weak stature with loud, piercing barks. I took down camp after camp of mindless Gnolls, looking for the large, feathered shoulderpads of the Lieutenant. Then, I saw him surrounded by a small group of guards. I waited for them to enter a clearing and started my attack.

Fangore jumped back as his comrades attacked. As I took down his mates, he began conjuring dark magic. A swirling black mist grew from his marred paws. Then he hurled it towards me. For a second I was blinded by the darkness. I needed to stop wasting my time on his bodyguards. I pushed them aside and ran straight toward the dark conjuror. While his mastery in Dark Magic was impressive, but was no match against brute force. I slayed my first target with ease. Surely Morganth would be displeased by his servant.
