Wasting no time, I boarded my mechanostrider and made my way to Blackrock Mountain. The sky, littered with fiery embers burned my face as I rode. I wasn’t sure what horrors awaited me deep in the mountain. More Dark Iron dwarves, or something more.. sinister? The large iron doors swung vacantly, almost as if they were summoning me. I left my mechanostrider outside and entered the fiery chasm.
I walked straight up the winding stone path. At the center was a structure. I stood at the top for a second and tried to find some kind of bridge to this area, but the only pathway I could see were a series of long chains. I didn’t have any time to waste. I ran across trying to keep my balance. I kept running through the old structre, down a seemingly endless, winding pathway to the pit of the mountain.
I saw a glint of light directly north. This had to be my comrades. Wiping sweat from my brow I ran towards the light, taking down a few angry Dark Iron Dwarves in my wake. At the end of a long corridor, I discovered that this was no beacon. The light was coming from a large fire elemental, and it was charging right towards me!
I took threw my shield up as a firestorm swept around me. I ducked and tried to dodge it’s attacks but it was no use. My shield burned my hands and I threw it to the ground in pain. Would my mission be over before it began? As I turned around in a last ditch effort to sheild my face, I felt a cool blast of air sweep over my shoulder. A water elemental had joined my plight, and that water elemental was controlled by a powerful Gnome mage. In an instant the burning elemental was reduced to a pile of ash, as my party came to my aid.

I stood up to thank them but did not get the chance. They ran towards the entrance to a large, prison. Picking up my still-steaming shield, I joined them. With a group such as this, we would take down this area in no time.
I heard cries and screams of prisoners all around me as we made our way though the prison, quickly and efficiently defeating countless Dark Iron Dwarves and their pets.
Could it all really be this easy? Within a few hours the grounds were littered with the bodies of our foes. The air wreaked of filth and soot. Stepping over dozens of dead dwarves, we released every living prisoner we could find. They ran desperetly towards the exit. I couldn’t help but think about how awful it must have been, being trapped down in this pit. When it was over I asked my silent comrades if this was all. The Draenai Paladin laughed and said “We haven’t even started yet.”
