A Little Help From Ollo

I

I awoke several hours later feeling refreshed and ready to take on anything. I felt like everything that was to come could yield at least two hundred precent more experience for a good while. I decided to explore the area. As I left the building I noticed that there was a letter marked for me. I was so used to reading the mail of others, I was shocked to see something for myself. I ripped it open and read.

It was from a name I vaguely recognized. Who was this “Ollo”? Attached to this message was more gold than I had ever seen! Why me? There are so many questions unanswered. I can’t even remember how I got here, now a mysterious stranger is sending me money? What exactly is in store for me?

Across the pathway, there was a large armory. I decided to use my new found wealth to buy some armor. I found a blacksmith with some nice armor for me to purchase. This new armor made me feel invincible. I wanted to go back into that tunnel and show those Troggs who’s boss.

Before I could head back to the tunnel, there were some Dwarves hailing me with some new quests to embark on. Soon I had a whole list of things to do. Overall, it was more of the same. Kill some poor defenseless animals, deliver some things, kill some more.

One task stood out. A quirky fellow by the name of Pilot Stonegear wanted me to go into a cave over in the west to kill some creaturees known as the Wendigo. I took his quest, but immediately images of angry Troggs, and dark ominous caves flooded my mind.

I think I will save that one for last.
