I arrived at Lakeshire Inn feeling sufficently exhausted. As soon as I laid down I was fast asleep. I suddenly found myself in the middle of a Raging Chasm of fire. There were others with me. Nobody said anything, we just moved through this hot, flaming area filled with terrifying creatures. They were large, mutated versions of the monsters that haunted my nightmares.
Groups of enormous, black Troggs attacked with a fiery vengeance as large serpent creatures spit venom directly into my eyes. I tirelessly warded them off using my trusty rolling pin. We moved through wave after wave of enemies, each area looking just like the last.
Finally we made it to a clearing. There was lava churning beneath us. On top of a series of interconnected platforms lurked dark creatures. They lashed out at us, heaving large axes and swords. Others conjured black magic and shot horrible ethereal skulls that surrounded us with dark energy.

Moving toward the center, we faced the ruler of this area, a large demon-like creature with enormous horns and an even bigger sword. It lifted an swung its weapon as if it was weightless, knocking my comrades one by one into the lava below. Soon it was just me and him.
With each swipe of his sword, my weapons were knocked straight out of my hands. Dodging blow after blow, I began inching closer and closer to the edge of the crumbling platform. Then I felt the earth I was standing on drop beneath my feet. I was falling straight into the bubbling cauldron.
With a jolt, I woke up. I knew it was all just a dream, but where was I? I walked downstairs and grabbed a hot cup of tea. Reliving this nightmare, I couldn’t help but feel like I’d been there before somehow, but I wasn’t myself. Was I reliving something from a past life?
This is something I’ll probably never know…
